MAG set-top boxes from Infomir are purpose-built IPTV devices. They connect to a television via HDMI, are controlled with a remote, and are configured by entering a portal URL — no app store required. Setup is quick once you have your credentials.

- MAG 425A / 425Aw3
Older models (MAG 254, MAG 256) are functional but may have limited performance with higher-quality streams.
What you need
- Your MAG box connected to your TV via HDMI and powered on
- Network connection (Ethernet recommended, or Wi-Fi if your model supports it)
- Portal URL from your IPTV UK Hub welcome email
Step-by-step MAG setup
- Power on the MAG box and wait for it to reach the home screen or portal selection screen
- Navigate to System Settings
- Select Servers then Portals
- Enter your portal URL in the Portal 1 URL field (provided in your IPTV UK Hub welcome email)
- Give the portal a name (e.g. IPTV UK Hub)
- Save and restart the box
- After restarting, the MAG will connect to the portal and load your channel list
Network setup
Connect your MAG box to your router via Ethernet for the most stable performance. If your MAG model includes Wi-Fi, ensure it connects to the 5GHz band rather than 2.4GHz for better throughput.
Troubleshooting MAG setup
- Portal not loading — double-check the URL for typos and ensure there is no trailing space
- Channels not loading — verify your subscription is active by contacting support
