How to Watch Premier League Football via IPTV

The Premier League is the most-watched football competition in the UK, with broadcast rights split between Sky Sports and TNT Sports (formerly BT Sport). Both sets of channels are available within IPTV subscriptions.

Which channels broadcast Premier League matches?

  • Sky Sports Premier League — Sky holds the majority of Premier League broadcast rights. This dedicated channel carries the bulk of weekend and midweek fixtures.
  • Sky Sports Main Event — the flagship Sky Sports channel, simulcasts many Premier League broadcasts.
  • TNT Sports 1 — carries the 20 Premier League fixtures allocated to TNT Sports (formerly BT Sport) each season, including weekend Super Sunday and Monday night games.
  • BBC One / ITV — free-to-air highlights (Match of the Day on BBC, etc.) are available through the standard UK entertainment channels in your IPTV line-up.

Finding Premier League channels in your IPTV player

In IPTV Smarters or TiviMate, navigate to the Sports category in your channel list. Sky Sports channels will be listed individually. You can add frequently watched channels (Sky Sports Premier League, TNT Sports 1) to your Favourites for quick access on match days.

Kick-off times and scheduling

Standard Premier League kick-off times: Saturday at 12:30, 15:00 (currently limited live UK broadcasts due to blackout rules), 17:30, and 20:00. Sunday at 14:00 and 16:30. Monday evenings. Midweek fixtures are typically Tuesday and Wednesday at 19:45 or 20:15.

Improving stream quality on match days

High-profile Saturday and Sunday fixtures attract peak viewer numbers across all IPTV services. Follow these steps for the best experience:

  • Use a wired Ethernet connection
  • Connect 5–10 minutes before kick-off and allow the stream to stabilise
  • Have a backup channel stream identified (many channels offer multiple stream variants)
